Site Suggestion

Eric -

First, let me say I love this site. Not only was it a great place during the season, but I think I am enjoying it even more during the offseason. Love reading all the rumors and everyone's reaction to trades and trade speculation.

But I also thought, how can he make this better. And the one suggestion I have is this:

Is it possible to set the site up, so that when I go to read comments, I am sent directly to the first new post since I last read them? I know of other sites that have this functionality.

Thoughts? Anyone else have any ideas for Eric?

Interesting

I will run it by the powers that be. The biggest hurdle I see is that this site features "nested" comments, where you can reply to individual comments, and as a result the comments don't necessarily appear in chronological order.

I encourage suggestions from everybody on ways to improve the site, so by all means fire away.

it would be nice...

to make it easier to find new posts somehow. I'd page-search the word "new", but that doesn't work so well on a blog about the New York Mets. So one easy solution could be to use a longer phrase -- "new comments," "unread," or something -- to tag the recent posts. Ideally there'd be a single-page view of all unread comments since my last site visit, but that's a little more tech-intensive solution, I guess.
