Cable TV squabble

The cable TV mess is now threatening to deprive some die-hard Mets fans of seeing Opening Day.

I honestly don't know the extent of the problem here, but an open discussion seems appropriate.  It seems ridiculous that a squabble like the one between Time-Warner and Cablevision could jeopardize as profitable an enterprise as the Mets on cable TV, but Yankees fans have already seen how ugly and prolonged these disputes can become.  Are these corporations in need of adult supervision, or what?  When is the situation likely to be resolved?
