PrintJose Reyes has great talent. But he should be batting 8th and the hitting coach should be breaking down his swing and teaching Reyes how to hit. By doing the same thing wrong over and over again he will marginally improve but never be the player he can be or it will take him years (5 or 6) to develop. I'm sorry he is just not smart enough to teach himself how to hit. He needs a teaching manager and hitting coach to work with him. He doesn't seem to have that on the Mets.
