Sign the damn Zambrano petition!!
I was enjoying the comments left on the game thread after Zambrano's latest debacle. Nothing like watching a guy get 2 outs on six pitches, have the pitcher up, and then proceed to load the bases and give up a granny!
Great stat on Zambrano. He's given up 5 HRs in his last 9 IP...and he had two strikes on every hitter. That is why, my friends, I started the Trade Zambrano petition (http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/Trade_Victor_Zambrano/) Willie and Rick are towing the company line but even they cannot defend this schlub anymore. He needs to go and we need to speak up and convince Fred to make it happen. Go sign the petition people, please! For the love of God, please sign it!

His name is Omar Minaya.
one thing
It's 'toeing' the line, as in lining up where you are told. (opposed to crossing the line.)
But how can you tow a line? It makes no sense.

Thanks for the English lesson
he could be
(I'm not holding my breath.)
Also, now that you mention it, I can see how a line (as in, a rope) could be towed, (like in waterskiing.) I never thought of it that way.

toe the line
Of course the confusion comes from people thinking it was from pulling a rope, which is logical but wrong.

it depends on how you define "decent"
45 54 48 55 70
49 60 53 59 55
71 59 21 61 18
67 41 46 67 29
57
Unless I copied incorrectly, those are his game scores from last year. (I think I'm missing one start). Some of those are pretty good and he went 8 IP in a few.
