Open Thread - Game 40: Mets vs Cardinals (05/18/2006) on SNY

Source: mlb.com
It's kind of pathetic that Aaron Heilman is stuck in the bullpen and Lima Time! gets to go out there and embarrass himself (and the Mets organization) every fifth day. I'll consider it a quality start if he allows fewer runs than innings pitched, something he has yet to do in two previous attempts this season.
Let's go Mets!

I appreciate the aggressiveness, but when you have a free base, take it.
Anyone else think
i think Lima should stop giving up

However
The guy sucks, but man, he has no luck whatsoever.
i would argue that lima is one of the luckiest men
- he is not a major league pitcher, but yet, is a major league pitcher
- have you seen his wife?
that is too weird
Well, he has SOME luck

"We don't know," assistant general manager John Ricco said on Thursday, "if he did more damage or if he just wasn't ready to come back. He felt some tightness and took himself out of the game."

DWright
I don't know what's wrong with Floyd
Oh well, it would have been 6-4 instead of 6-3 which wouldn't have mattered.
sigh
if we can play the yankees and phillies tough, we go to Florida for 3, then play arizona and san francisco at home. hopefully we can pick up some wins there.
Well the Phillies got swept
Let's hope for better results against the Yankees and Phillies.
