What is Hernandez talking about?
Missouri borders at least 7 other states and many other states border at least 5. Anyone know what he's talking about?
by Nick T @ Amazin' Avenue on Jul 30, 2006 1:53 PM EDT reply actions
i think he didn't phrase it
Abreu in the Bronx according to ESPN
what the hell
exhale...whew
Glavine is currently in a vortex of suckitude.
Anyone else see that note on the Mets' site about next years' mutual options on Glavine? When the Mets reloaded his contract during the spring, they GAVE him not only a free option for next year, but they also an addition 2 MILL bonus if he makes the All-Star game. All of which, Glavine noted, he didn't particularly want, because he wanted his "freedom" after this season.
Troubling, if you ask me. But I'll overlook it if he could figure out how to friggin' pitch or drop a bunt down again.
reading that
It's possible. Glavine's always been a mystery.
Having said that, I suppose I would
The thing is
Still, your basic point is sound - if he's not going to get the same strike zone anymore as he did earlier in his career, then his success depends on how well he has adjusted to that. From June of last year to June of this year, it looked like he finally had made the adjustment. Now he's having a crappy month, but we'll have to reserve judgment on whether that means he's lost whatever it was he figured out.
by Billy Everyteen on Jul 30, 2006 2:42 PM EDT up reply actions
that 2 million bonus
About Valentin batting 8th
by Billy Everyteen on Jul 30, 2006 2:36 PM EDT reply actions

Comedy of freaking errors out there
by Billy Everyteen on Jul 30, 2006 2:55 PM EDT reply actions
How many errors can Nady get on that play?
did change the outcome
Frenchy is not scoring from first base
I think he would have scored anyway.
Gary and Keith said
by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:02 PM EDT up reply actions

i do not know why you care about this so much?
by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:06 PM EDT up reply actions
I saw the play like you did
When the commentators tell you he would not
by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:18 PM EDT up reply actions
For a guy who thinks it's not a real
I guess I just feel the play was not debatable
by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:24 PM EDT up reply actions
Actually
Alrighty then.
it was in the corner
Quick inning for the Mets here, and TG's

by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:19 PM EDT reply actions
that is what has been concerning me about Glavine
by Art Vandaley on Jul 30, 2006 3:21 PM EDT up reply actions
And 2-strike hits. Similar phenominon.
You know
This move is stupid by Willie.
I agree
