Oliver Perez

Does anyone know how his stuff has looked this spring? Hes been pretty successful and looking solid, but does anyone know where his fastball has been sitting and peaking? and how does his slider look?

Im a huge fan and think he's in for a big bounceback year. He seemed to be turning it around a bit near the end of last year and it would be HUGE for the Mets if he could flash some of his former glory.

I know he had a bad outing
in his debut, and he apparently hit a cameraman with a wild pitch when warming up.. but yea I really hope he becomes a solid guy for us.

Ollie
I've always been a huge fan and I really hope he can pull it together this year. He has some control problems and a lot of difficulty repeating his delivery. He looked terrible in his first spring start but has been a bit more consistent since. Hard to judge too much during these exhibition games, but  I'd still rather see him pitch well than not.

I was more curious how....
... his stuff has looked?

The results in the spring arent as important as getting his stuff and control in shape.

I am curious if hes sitting at 85/86, 89/90, or 92/93

Fastball
It has been in the 89-90 area from what I have seen, but it is still early in spring, and Gary and Ron have commented that the gun they are using seems to be a bit on the low side, so it may be that Ollie is hitting low nineties right now.

Ollie Comeback
As someone who has drafted Ollie for three years in a row waiting for the resurge, let me just say: please. Soon?
