PrintToday 11/19/08 only, until 11:59pm PT, the MLB.com Shop is offering 30% off everything, including personalized items, authentic jerseys, the works. The only stuff that doesn't qualify for the discount is gift cards, tax and shipping. I think that's a better percentage discount than I've seen them offer before for holiday sales; the only time I've seen bigger discounts is for crappy clearance items (Mo Vaughn jerseys and Kaz Matsui bobbleheads). Thought you folks might want to know in case you'd been putting off buying your customized Voltron t-shirt, new hat, jersey w/ Shea Stadium patch or whatever else until prices came down.

Just received their holiday catologue in the mail today.
I would like to send family and friends gifts this holiday season but unfortunately, my money is wrapped up in bailout contributions. Sorry.

I caved
and bought the “Essential Games at Shea” DVD set. I don’t think the David Wright walkoff game should be on there, but I’ll enjoy watching them all nonetheless.
I finally got that Voltron t-shirt
OK, and also a Wright jersey with the Shea patch. I would have a lot more money if I didn’t spend bunches of it on various baseball/football/soccer/hockey jerseys.

how exactly does one go about custom ordering a Voltron jersey. is it just Voltron with the number 15 on it or can you add some sort of cool graphics?

That is to say, a jersey-style t-shirt like this, not a jersey per se; dropping $200 on a jersey for what’s basically an inside joke is a little steep.
