yeah, I'm not seeing it

I sort of don’t get why it doesn’t just go up the night before each game, rather than making us guess what time window we’ll get each time (and slicing it down to an hour sometimes). Maybe Eric thinks this game is a rain-out, though.

Randolphism

Willie on the WFAN pre-game Mets Extra: Billy Wagner last night gave his teammates a “tongue-waxing”. Maybe the lube will help them get into a nice little rhythm.

the secret

According to these gurus, if you visualize your desires and think positively about them for long enough, the cosmos will become aligned and grant your wish. So we should minimize the negative energy (or “stinking thinking”) and help the Mets achieve their ultimate potential.

but so help me

if Delgado strikes out 2 more times tonight with another 2 pop outs, I’m probably gonna flip out.

rained out

No makeup date announced, but tonight’s game is off.

Lame

It’s really not raining all that hard (here in Brooklyn, at least). Go figure that the Yankees would decide to call the game on Santana’s normal rest, when the pitching matchups for the series looked pretty favorable for us.
