At first I thought it was four different kinds of singles (bunt, infield, etc.), but erstwhile Met Carlos Gomez hits for the inverted natural cycle -- homerun, triple, double then single.

Good for Carlos. I was never sold on his superstar potential with the Mets, but looking at the video of that homer and triple, I understand for the first time why scouts have been so high on him as a hitter: that’s one pretty stroke. If he develops any strike zone judgement at all to go with it, he ought to be a decent ballplayer for a long while.

LET'S GO METS GIF Click here to embiggen/view. By the way, I need some help here - is there any way to make this gif go faster? The "Let's" and "Go" sequences are only supposed to be 500 milliseconds each, and "Mets" a full second. Instead, each sequence is at least a full 1000 milliseconds (1 second) longer than it should be.
