Over the last two years, if we consider pick-offs (which don’t count as SB attempts), Reyes is around 70-75% successful, which is the break-even point. He’d likely be better off never attempting a steal. Or, about as well off.

Injuries and crappy players

Injuries are a problem, but who expected Alou to be healthy at age 42? And why on earth are such useless players as Easley, Anderson, Nunez, Raul Casanova, Tatis, etc. seeing any playing time at all? Injuries aren’t all to blame for this team not hitting: the awful hitters doing the hitting are to blame too.

Garfield

In the comic (and the cartoon), Nermal was an annoyingly-cute cat that would annoy Garfield to no end. Garfield would invariably tire of Nermal and trick him into doing something that usually ended up with Nermal in a box ticketed for Abu Dhabi.
