Ollie vs. Texas
This should be exciting—but probably in an “I hope everyone in the bleachers brought a glove” kind of way.

Good point from Ronnie
it looked like he barely touched that ball… and he sent it 380 feet to the opposite field

Wow
I can’t believe the Mets were unable to DL Alou retroactively because they called up Cancel within 10 days of sending him down. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE YOU COULD HAVE CALLED UP???

How about this
6-run lead…I’d like to see Wagner blow this one. THAT would be impressive.

Another decent game for Delgado
1-3, 2B, R, BB, SB
I’m telling you, he’s coming around.

(OK, so it was the back end of a double steal, but people have been thrown out on the back end of double steals before.)

still though, that man bumps and grinds during his on field celebrations
as though he isn’t the anchor dragging this team and its 149 million dollar roster into oblivion.

"the" anchor?
Singular? You’ve got to be kidding.

well finally
an impressive or at least competent performance.
regarding recent mets catastrophes, it was like being stuck in a theater while the latest indiana jones movie plays on loop. in other words, hellish never ending disappointment.

hooray for the mets
it was nice to see ollie recover from that HR from hamilton.
8 k’s. nice job.
good win for the players, willile and the fans.
that’s a tough lineup for the METS to face and only give up one run. if i’m not mistaken, the RANGERS have the highest combined BA in the MLB.
in respect to Indiana Jones…oy wei…painful
