Goose seems like he still wants to play. Maybe he should be a man and say it to Jose’s face rather than througfh the media.

Knock a guy who shows some emotion and has fun playing a game and keeps his teammates excited. It doesn’t make sense Goose. Reyes tried to be that boring player in the beginning of the year, but that’s not who he is, and he shouldn’t let a relief pitcher tell him how he should play. Goose doesn’t realize some people are different, and that is good, it balances out the boring non-emotional players.

First he’s giving Joba a hard time, now it’s Reyes? Maybe he’s got a thing against New York. I’m so sick and tired of all these old farts talking about how players are playing / celebrating the game. Sure, baseball is steeped in tradition but every now and then baseball needs an injection of change. All civilizations that failed to embrace change were doomed. No one wants to see baseball continue to be its staid old self. The game is beautiful as it is and if the players want to celebrate, by God let em!

My Greatest Fear

is turing into a bitter, boring old man whining about how kids today don’t measure up.

He says the same shit every two weeks and each time he acts like he’s blowing our minds. I’m sure he fancies himself a prophet screaming into the wilderness.
