Community board backs Willets Point plan
The Queens Community Board 7 voted 21-15 in favor of the Willet's Point redevelopment plan.
"With the community board’s approval, the project now moves on to Queens Borough President Helen Marshall for review. A hearing is scheduled for July 10, although Ms. Marshall is likely to support the plan. The land use review will conclude in November with a vote by the full City Council."
