I'll add the requisite recap graphics and tables in a few hours, but use this to chat about the Mets taking sole possession of first place in the NL East for the first time since forever.
Quick notes:
- Oliver Perez: back on track?
- Carlos Delgado: any chance the Mets pick up his option instead of giving untold sums to Dunn or Teixeira?
- Jamie Moyer: what the hell?

I’d take Teixeira at untold millions, but I would probably give Delgado a 2 year deal rather than throw a ton of cash at Dunn.

The Mets have now won all 4 series they have played vs. the Phillies.
They 9-4 overall against them, with only 5 games left to play against them. The worst they can do is split the season series against them.
