all that

and Simons cut way into my swag lead by picking the Phillies. Bastard.

'Catsmeat!' he cried. 'I see it all. It was that chump, Catsmeat.'

You can bounce back, brother!

Keep picking the Mets to win! That’s how I won last month!

Well I sure as hell ain't gonna pick the Phillies or Marlins to win

I just can’t do it.

'Catsmeat!' he cried. 'I see it all. It was that chump, Catsmeat.'

I felt pretty good about this game

Until Brian Schneider was forced to make an appearance. He clearly makes pitchers worse. The only starter who benefits from Mr. Intangible is Ollie. I know he had to come in. But that was the point at which the other shoe dropped. At least for me.

Any word on Hippo's quad?

Eh

you get a pass. It wasn’t any worse than watching five and a half hours of that game last night what with the terrible punchline delivered there.

'Catsmeat!' he cried. 'I see it all. It was that chump, Catsmeat.'

Stokes

does anybody out there feel that jerry should have left stokes in there as long as he was doing well…..which he was. putting in sanchez, i think was a big mistake.

how many 8-7 losses have there been in the last two years?

That soccer groin-kick image is rapidly becoming the emblem of all my wordly misery.

I guess he's planned for September

Worst loss of the season.

But it’s a wash if Santana earns his keep tonight. One way I cope with such losses is to recall the time the Nets blew a 20-odd point 4th quarter lead in the playoffs in Boston. Everyone said they’re done, they’ll never recover from the trauma, yet they just plain clobbered Boston in the next game. So don’t get the Jamestown Kool-Aid recipes out just yet.

yeah, that's the thing

a shitty loss is still only one game and a good start from our ace makes the miniseries a wash.

I know I am preaching to the choir here but

Duaner Sanchez is done. There is no reason for him to be on this team anymore and he should be DFA’d right now and Reyes brought up for tonight’s game. Brian Schnider is also useless. can’t hit and can’t field. A catcher has to be able to handle that relay throw from Easley as poor as it was. That was the balllgame folks.

huhn.

So long Our Anus, see you in a few days. Hippo? Take care of that quad. Welcome back Robinson Cancel and Figgy!

playoffs

BP has the Mets’ current chances of making the postseason as basically dead even, 50%. Seems high to me somehow.
