Will Citi live to see its Field?
September collapse of a different sort: Citigroup owns a bunch of Lehman's debt. What happens to Citi Field if they go belly up? And what happens to the $400M the Mets expected from them?

I have a more important question
If shit goes down at Citi, what happens to the checking account I have with them?
Careful though
FDIC insures only up to $100,000. If Big Baller Josh NY has more than that, watch out.
Also, the FDIC only has about $52 billion in reserve capital. If every Tom, Dick and Harry that has less than $100 K in the bank makes a run on the bank the FDIC won’t be able to handle it all.
Better be first in line for the soup kitchen.

Yep
If WaMu goes down, it’d eat up about half of the remaining insurance fund. FDIC’s been taking over a lot of banks this year.

My friend....
…if Citi falters, baseball will be the last of your concerns.
yup
stock up on canned goods and ammunition now
the horde will be around soon to take all your precious “juice”
Gonna be like 'Mad Max' within a week
Tina Turner all dominating over the proceedings. Such things occurring as two men entering and one man leaving. The whole world one big fucking desert. Everyone all dressed in some conglomeration of ‘77 punk and ’82 new wave styles. Ain’t gonna be much water or food, but damn sure people will find some eyeshadow.
'Catsmeat!' he cried. 'I see it all. It was that chump, Catsmeat.'

Us fans suffer bad--want justice!
I knew we should have built a retractable Terrordome.
I did it like this / I did it like that / I did it with a Wiffle Ball bat

It wouldn't far off....
…if a bank as large as Citi faltered, consumer confidence would go down the drain and the economy would follow suit.
This is not to mention the number of institutions that rely on Citi for so many things.
But I have faith...
that the country AND THE METS would RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE from the ashes…Like a Phoenix

I have BoA.
Pretty soon, they’re going to be the only bank left. Those who are lucky enough to still have money will have no choice: Bank of America, or your mattress. Until the mattress is sold, along with the rest of your possessions, to pay your bills.

Sun Trust charges you a $1 fee for putting in the incorrect pin number into an ATM!
Then my credit union reciprocates and does the same.
WTF is that?

There is already....
…only one bank left. It’s called the Fed.
B of A, Citi, Goldman….they’re all just extensions of the Fed.
thank god
someone has spoken the truth

Obama Field
Cause he would own the debt…f***ing Bush.
The 2008 NY Mets: Pedro hurt already. Delgado still sucks. Mets still can't beat the Braves. Beltran only plays 6 innings. WTF with Pelfrey?? Mets win 60 in a row. Freakin' Wagner. PLAYOFFS, NO WAY?!
