No t.v. tonight…
I’ll be living vicariously through everyone’s pointed and humrous blogs.
…and perhaps some imaginative gifs?

is that Santana or a ground's crewman?
…oh, by the looks of his kicks, that’s got to be a ground’s crewman.
You gif so well.

For some reason, I'm really begnning to hate Ryan Braun
Perhaps it’s the way he watches his HR’s. Can’t stand that.

weather update gang?
I do see a system building up way to the southwest in Salsbury, MD but the doppler on Wunderground isn’t showing anything in New York.
What’s going on?

After taking a look at the Cubs lineup tonight compared to last night...
…. it’s pretty obvious what Lou’s intent is….
So I’ll make you a deal: if the Mets make the playoffs and the Brewers stay home, please kick the crap out of the Cubs for us. Sweep, if possible. If the Mets end up playing the Cubs again, I’ll be the biggest Mets fan west of Lake Michigan and east of the Mississippi.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

John McCain’s signature talent as a legislator is his ability to get horrendous bipartisan legislation passed. Today, the nation needs some horrendous bipartisan legislation. Of course Obama is no better.
His support on the economy relies on complete ignorance of economic principles on the part of normal people.
The whole idea of a corporate tax makes no sense at all.

I said to someone at work today
I’d almost rather the Mets crashed out this weekend so I could attend Oktoberfest without having to think about the Mets crashing out of the play-offs while I was away.
It’s not true, of course, because I want them to make the play-offs. But still it has been tough to sit through all of this.
And, of course, Philly wins. Blergh.

But the debate isn’t about reality anyway. It’s about perception. And McCain was all specific, and Obama was all “I agree with Senator McCain.”
by JohnPeterson on Sep 26, 2008 10:44 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
i don't think Obama did as well as he could havebut
Mccain was hardly specific about anything but some tired stories about how he had been to these places and some stupid semantics about high level meetings. Omaba actually itemized what he would do, though i think he fell into the mcbain trap of distraction. I wouldn’t feel comfy about a McBain foreign policy if I were you.
