First!
No t.v. tonight…
I’ll be living vicariously through everyone’s pointed and humrous blogs.
…and perhaps some imaginative gifs?

is that Santana or a ground's crewman?
…oh, by the looks of his kicks, that’s got to be a ground’s crewman.
You gif so well.

Lou
isn’t that Robin ventura, my favorite met ever, with his mike piazza outfit on?

For some reason, I'm really begnning to hate Ryan Braun
Perhaps it’s the way he watches his HR’s. Can’t stand that.

weather update gang?
I do see a system building up way to the southwest in Salsbury, MD but the doppler on Wunderground isn’t showing anything in New York.
What’s going on?

Three to go!
Still have nothing to say other than: Let’s Go Mets! Ya Gotta Believe!

Well, the Marlins aren't gonna lay down.

After taking a look at the Cubs lineup tonight compared to last night...
…. it’s pretty obvious what Lou’s intent is….
So I’ll make you a deal: if the Mets make the playoffs and the Brewers stay home, please kick the crap out of the Cubs for us. Sweep, if possible. If the Mets end up playing the Cubs again, I’ll be the biggest Mets fan west of Lake Michigan and east of the Mississippi.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

Otherwise it’s the regulars, minus Soto.

Man, that was a vicious thread people had going earlier today.
I am not a hater. Happy to involve myself with a bunch of degenerates and hopefully the mutually suffering (i mean success) is what binds us.

Thankfully, the problem has been addressed.

I kinda thought we could trust Pelf in a game like this.

He can't go all Glavine on us?
Can he?

We have to play like this!

Pelfrey's Marlins curse
Dude must be praying he gets traded to Florida at this point — he’d be unstoppable without those drubbings on his record.

I'm pulling so hard for him to win
Not just because of the play-offs, but also to shut Cody Ross’ 12-year-old looking mouth.

OK
Big Pelf is not Glavine. Good enough. Time to score some runs on these chumps.
Cos, y’know, Philly’s already up 3-0, so . . .

I have to say
at this point I kind of think Howard deserves the MVP also. I know that is not a popular view here but well I mean he is a pretty awesome hitter who is doing it down the stretch for his club.

He's the only batter that makes me feel good everytime he's up at the plate
w/everyone else, I feel it’s hit or miss.
Can’t believe I’m saying this.

same for Jose, Delgado and Voltron. It’s after those five when I start getting shaky.

LOL
Nicely done, Reg. Sports team videos from the 1980s are almost guaranteed to be comedy gold. Also, Joe Piscopo!
Plus, it beats the tar out of “The Team The Time.” What a musical abortion that was.

Pelfrey is hit on his pitching hand.
That’s OK. We got a baserunner out of it.
