PrintThe Hardball Times Season Preview 2009 is on its way. Scheduled for release on February 25, the THT preview is the companion volume to The Annual, and features previews, player comments and player projections for all 30 big league teams from some of the best team-specific baseball writers around. Also, me.
You can pre-order the THT preview via ACTA Sports. Here are samples of the team summary, hitter comments and pitcher comments. It's my first official published writing gig, and if you don't buy a copy my mom will be very sad.

I did
Though I have to thank Alex Nelson (Blackfish) who bailed me out by writing profiles for scrubs like Tobi Stoner and Carlos Muniz at a point where I couldn’t bear to look at even one more player projection. His name won’t appear in the book but he deserves credit for helping maintain my sanity in those waning hours before the chapter was due.
Eh, disagree with Stoner being a scrub.
But general point understood.
