Says if he has surgery or not, he'll be ready for opening day. Of course with this medical staff, I wouldn't be surprised if they amputate his legs.

That thing about him being ready for ST came from his agent

so I’d take it with a large grain of salt.

I’ll be convinced when it is May 13, 2010, and Jose is still playing like Jose.

ready is one thing

but what will he bring to the table when he comes back… where will his speed, range, and durability be? I hope he’s back to his old self, but I’m worried at what losing a year of playing time and 2 serious leg injuries will do to him. Maybe its just the Mets fan in me worrying but i’ll remain cautiously optimistic at best.

Maybe if all Met fans

lower their expectations for Reyes from “God” to simply “Great Baseball Player” we will all be pleasantly surprised!

he has never been a God to me.

The only Mets God I’ve ever seen wore number 41. End of story.

that's almost blasphemy to mention them in the same thought

intresting note, I think he’s on either Blueshirt Banter or Gang Green Nation as BNTHIS. He was shot down there too

Phew

I thought he might not be back for several months next year, and might be ineffective when he did. Jose just completely erased those worries.
