Brad Hawpe: Trade Candidate?
I always knew Hawpe could hit (he's averaged about a .380 wOBA the last four seasons), but I never realized his defense was downright Dunnian (yes, I just made that up).
2007: -27.2 UZR/150 in RF
2008: -46.6 UZR/150 in RF (Note: Holy Crap!)
2009: -19.5 UZR/150 in RF
So he probably shouldn't be an offseason target for the Mets. Thoughts?

I don't want him on my team
mostly because Buck Martinez thinks he’s great, so that is an automatic nix for me.

His defense is miserable
This is exactly the kind of guy I can see the Met targeting, and the exact kind of player I personally want them to avoid.
UZR isn’t perfect obviously, but when you are that consistently terrible it has to have some merit. As a DH he’d probably be great, but if he has to play the OF his very good bat gets negated.
