Steve Phillips Suspended from Baseball Tonight Due to Affair
Not sure how to feel about this one. On the one hand, it's never good to see a family torn apart. On the other hand...it's Steve Phillips, a total douchebag. And he doesn't poison any more baseball broadcasts with his inane rhetoric.

maybe he should hold a press conference with himself
and explain the situation to all his fans.
Lets hope that when gut check time comes again the Mets will pass it with flying colors.
was it with Shane Victorino?
or maybe Nate McLouth?

Schadenfreudelicious
The man cannot keep it in his pants.
Yeah, in retrospect
I know how I feel….

A pity that ESPN cancelled Steve's online chat for today.

The Phillies are almost to the World Series and Steve Phillips still gets laid.
Two pieces of evidence for an insane God.

The Mayans may be a bit late on their end of the world estimate.

reposted the earlier thread...
Assuming that ESPN cans Phillips for his latest freakish behavior, should we all chip into pay for other attractive ESPN staffers who will get it on with John Kruk? And Joe Morgan? And Rick Sutcliffe? And Eric Young…?
dont think theres enough money to get chicks to go after john kruk
i mean you have to pay by the pound i assume.

Ahh my eyes
The goggles! They do nothing!
If there's ever a riot at Citi Field and Oliver Perez was the starter, I started the riot.
Steve Phillips
Taste in ballplayers = taste in women
I would love
A video montage similar to the ridiculous one Phillips did about Beltran not being the “perfect player” with a few random misplays of Beltran’s.
Narrator: The problem with Steve Phillips is, for the amount of kids he has, he’s not the perfect father. He makes too many mistakes. Here, you see him with an ex-employee of the Mets. This video, from last year, shows him with an ESPN production assistant.

it can't be that hard
to get a picture of him licking Jimmy Rollins’ balls. He does it pretty much every day

As a Yankee fan, he always rubbed me as a conniving little weasel --
I guess he was just a stupid-ass little weasel. It’s so ironic that a man with as apparently little foresight with regards to women (and who knows what else) as Phillips was actually hired to plan the future of a Major League Baseball team.
I don't even remember things being this bad...
“Phillips said he was comfortable with the Mets’ starting staff of Al Leiter, Estes, Steve Trachsel, Glendon Rusch and Bruce Chen.”
"I was so frustrated [Saturday], I [could have said] anything," ~Oliver Perez
You know what the worst part is?
I still think I’d prefer him over Omar for GM
