Chris Carter!
"So, got that? Chris Carter. Intense. Fiery. Were he a bit smaller, you could probably even add 'gritty' to the list and call him Dustin Pedroia."

"If only he were just a tad bit shorter . . . "
or, you know, as talented as Pedroia.

Did you read the caption under the photo accompanying the article?
Chris Carter is greeted after hitting his sixth home run of spring training yesterday. he was hitting .359 in spring training with six home runs, four doubles and 10 RBI in 64 at-bats. He also oozes intensity, according to numerous reputable sources.
What qualifies someone to be a reputable source on all things intensity-oozing?

So, if we have him, Francoeur and sign Jacobs
will we be more gritty than Dick Torino?

Not until we trade that showboating loser, Jose Reyes.

And don't forget we need to trade Beltran for Victorino.
Cuz Beltran doesn’t care about baseball and victorino is a gamer.

i'd trade him for Shane Victorino
then we could jam Vic in left and we’ve got a show

But Reyes is 10 times the payer Victorino is
plays a more premium decision, and most importantly, isn’t a douchebag who throws elbows on the base paths, whines about calls he can’t see, shows up the other team by clapping their faces after a home run. Victorino does everything Reyes get accused of doing.
