I want the away team to win

no one goes home happy
I want Yankees in5. Philly fans will be devastaed, though Yankee fans will be obnoxious.
And we have to listen to Tim McCarver
MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

I've decided I need the team that loses to feel awful, no matter who it is

maybe a dropped fly ball by dicktorino or a grounder that hits jetes in the balls and while he’s writhing in pain on the ground, the winning run scores. stuff like that

I'm going to swallow my pride

(sighs…) I’ll watch the game. My attempts to boycott it has failed.

I have

successfully thus far. I have only seen Utley’s two homers in game one online. Plus Curb, Bored to Death and Dexter are on so there’s stuff to watch

I love baseball

The teams may suck at life but whatever, baseball is awesome. I’ll watch the World Series no matter who’s playing.

is it just me or

did Posada just run the Yankees out of the inning on purpose to give Rivera a save opportunity?

Irritating

but this is as good a series as I expected. I’d like to see Philly somehow make the comeback tonight.

Johnny Damon

that was the most impressive World Series at-bat since Mookie. And then taking 3rd on the steal topped it off. I hate the Yankees, but you’ve gotta appreciate that.

Plus, seeing the Phillies fans get shut up was awesome

i want the Phils to win

but part of me takes joy in watching Lidge blow the game.

by KeithsMoustache on Nov 1, 2009 11:50 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

you know what sucks?

if you could split Lidge’s suckiness this year over the past two seasons instead, the Mets would have won the division by like 3 games last year. Fuck the baseball gods.

One more win gets us the results we want

Strike ensues, leading to formation of salary cap
Philly fans, deceived by promises of a dynasty, help increase the national suicide rate

Gotta love the chances…

do we really want a salary cap?

If the Mets front office can’t win with the plethora of financial advantages we have over 27 other teams, how could we expect them to compete on a level playing field
