I don't know
getting kidnapped would show grit.
"We must win and we must know how to win rather than win because we have statistical people."
The kidnappers will ask for a one off $8m payment
and Omar will counter offer with $12m a year for three years

The Mets have received reports that Thole is enjoying his time in Caracas without any concerns about his safety, and that he hopes to stay through his scheduled departure date, Dec. 8.
He should be fine. I would believe that actual baseball players are better protected than a private citizen like Victor Zambrano’s mom. Plus, he’s in Caracas; she lives on a farm in bumblefuck, Venezuela.
It's that well hidden
