AFL Pitchf/x Leaders
Beyond the Boxscore shows the top 10 in several categories in the AFL. There are only two pitchers who rank in both the top 10 in whiff% and groundball%: Jenrry Mejia and Steven Strasburg.

Mejia pitched today
Got knocked around again, 4 ER in 3.2 IP, though he did strike out 4 and hit 97 three times in the first inning, and was mostly in the upper range of 92-96 for the rest of the game. Tejada also went deep.

Tejada Went Deep?!
Yeah, it funny he has no power, so its nice to see.
You know, I really like Tejada. He would be great to have in the organization. I love that his contact rate is so high, and his strike zone command is sweet too. Frankly, I think he has showed more than Reese Havens, but Reese continues to get more love just because he shows a bit more power.
Despite my skepticism for Reese’s play, I think it’s great to have those two. The best plays, and the other gives us bench depth. We no longer have to give Alex Cora $2M.
