Part two. No shrill comments about me yet, unfortunately. Here is the question we all answered:

Are you convinced that both Omar Minaya and Jerry Manuel need to go, or could one or both of them still earn your confidence between now and the end of the 2010 season?

Yesterday's question generated a lot of discussion here, most of it only tangentially related to the question itself.

outside of divine intervention

there’s not really anything that could happen that could change my opinion on either, just like nothing that happened last season changed my opinion on either.

Right?

Were sizzlechest1-4 already taken? Or is this guy a really (REALLY!) big David Wright fan?

i actually own the rights to 1-4, just in case i needed them

but didn’t lock up 5 in time. Its my greatest regret in life. Seriously i’m not sure which idea scares me more, that 1-4 were taken or that they are specifically referring to Dubs.

He was originally Sizzlechest(s?) 1-4...

but kept forgetting the password. it’s hard spelling pasta fagiole

Eric has done the seemingly impossible

he’s written more words than Greg Prince 2 days in a row.

"[The Giants] beat us down. We were beat by a grown-man team, a team we want to be like one day. They came in here and took it to us. Out-manned us, out-gunned us. ... It wasn't even close." - Raheem Morris, 9/27/09

Hey Eric

Have you provided joeyp with proper identification yet? He seems a bit unnerved about your credentials.

My credentials

were in my other sweatpants which my mother has inconveniently sent through the wash. Thankfully, my computer is just a few feet from her basement laundry room so I will go and retrieve them for joep posthaste.

At least some of those comments are more enlightened this time around.

There’s plenty of chuckles to be had, though:

“Beltran and Reyes top the list [being injured] and Santana and Maine are showing signs of joining it”.

“When you look at the team Minaya has put together, they should have won”.

“Manuel on the other hand I think tends to play it safe with many of his decisions, but he’s really not that bad of an in-game manager. His only daring move that backfired was when he pinch-hit for Castro with Santos. But later in the year santos had the big homer off papelbon, so Jerry was on to something.”

Eric, be honest

You’re really just baiting the flat-earthers and throwing a bunch of shout-outs to AA readers, aren’t you?

From what I hear

Eric took his cue from Gov. Schwarzenegger for his next response. The answer will be composed of eight lines, and if you take the first letter of every line it will spell “GRISSION”.

"fansince77" hits us with some knowledge
I mean, read the first three blogger comments—-where is the insight, knowledge, or unique perspective? As for the last one, it is silly, and I do not think “grission” is even a word!

LOL, grission isn't a word.

What do you mean?

It’s in the grictionary. It’s a perfectly cromulent word.

didn’t know that because he’s a kwyjibo.
