Bay's Getting His Fifth Year; Molina's At A Standstill (Figures)
Some bad news sweetened by good news: According to Heyman, we're giving Bay FIVE guaranteed, at a lower salary than the initial offer. Holliday is supposedly still on our radar, however. Though, with an offer that Bay is likely to accept, that doesn't really matter all too much. In better news, though, talks with Bengie Molina are at a stand-still (insert fat joke involving 'standing still' here).

I just went to my shed
found the pitchfork.
also found some rusty machetes, and an old muzzle loader.
you know what I'm sayin' ?
I don't know
This wasn’t bad news all around, in fact I came out of it feeling a lil better. The fact that we’ve re-entered the bidding for Holliday and that the Molina deal might be dying warms my heart more than Bay getting a fifth year cools it, especially if across the 5 years we offered less AAV.
Travis Hafner is made of gold
(insert fat joke here.)
Did you hear that the Mets are signing Bengie Molina to a 3 year deal? Yeah, it’s a shame they didn’t bring the old apple over from Shea, but he’ll do a good job.
how’s that?
It's a start.

Of course they're standing still with Molina
You know how hard it is for him to begin moving?
