Here it is:
Mets get:
Royals get:
Reds Get:
Jeurys Familia
I see a lot of positive in this for all sides. For the Mets, they fill not one but TWO spots with more than credible pitchers who are on extremely favorable contracts (1 year, $11-12 million both with club options for a second year), a great defensive second baseman with pop and wheels as well, and a fantastic defensive left fielder who can also contribute by getting on base. All of this without giving up any key prospects. For the Reds, they unload the baggage of Harang while receiving two pitchers with good potential at a low cost, and for Phillips they receive two talented prospects. From the Royals perspective they are able to unload Meche for a high caliber prospect like Martinez and another good one in Nieuwenhuis, as well as a talented outfielder still under arb rules in Francoeur, a speedy, cheap CF in Dickerson and Castillo to fill a hole at second.
