The 2009 NY Mets: WE GOT K-ROD! OMG, Putz, too! Sign Lowe! Lowe's a Brave. Sign Manny! Tim Redding, WTF? Sign Manny! Sheets or Perez? SHEETS! Perez?? Oh, Sheets is hurt -- good job, Minaya! WTF?! SIGN MANNY!

'Oh yes, I know all about that duty-of-a-citizen stuff. It doesn't go. There are exceptions to every rule, and this was one of them. When a man risks his liberty to come and root at a ball-game, you've got to hand it to him. He isn't a crook. He's a fan.'

Flailing away here, man. But I retract Zambrano. And don’t want to do work.

off topic (as if is matters)
I just got really psyched for the baseball season, like 30 seconds ago. I saw a picture of Reyes in my wanderings of the intertubes and was really thankful to be able to pull for a team that has some seriously dynamic and exciting players. Lets go Mets

I don't think that's right.
I just remembered that he was really tall.

Jim Abbot
My favorite Mets pitcher.

umm
was that a joke?
On the topic though – I was at Jim Abbot’s no-hitter. It was my first ever Yankees game, and I was sitting in a luxury box to boot. Suffice to say that was the high point of my Yankee Stadium experiences…(other than seeing Pedro bean Jeter and Soriano back-to-back and send one of them to the hospital – I can’t believe I don’t remember which one)
umm...was that a joke?
LMMFAO!
Wait…Luxury box?! What?!

Kris Benson
something about that glove folded up reminds me of him.
When asked why I was a Mets fan, I responded, "pain is my lifeblood."
something else reminds me of him...
