Name That Mets Pitcher - Now With Prizes!
Thanks to the folks at WhatIfSports, we now have prizes to give out for the 'Name That Pitcher/Batter' posts. Here's a quick blurb about WhatIfSports for those who are unfamiliar:
WhatIfSports.com specializes in online sports simulations and fantasy-style games. Two innovative baseball games include SimLeague Baseball and Hardball Dynasty. SimLeague Baseball allows you to create your own all-time team choosing from any player in history! Want Strawberry, Piazza and Wright in the same lineup? Seaver, Gooden and Santana in the rotation? Choose your ballpark, set your lineup and manage your team for 162 games.
Be a GM and run an entire organization from top to bottom in Hardball Dynasty! The most enjoyable and interactive fantasy baseball simulation on the web has it all, with amateur and Rule 5 draft, minor league player development, arbitration hearings, free agents, trades and more! If Theo Epstein and Brian Cashman can do it, so can you!
The Prize
For any particular contest, one grand prize winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to WhatIfSports, which will cover a full season of any of their baseball offerings.
The Rules
- One winner per contest. The first person to correctly guess the mystery player will be deemed the winner.
- One guess per person per contest. Only your first guess in a particular contest will be considered, so make it count.
