Is it possible to upload jpeg's to FanShots?

I don't think so
You’d have to upload the jpg to Flickr, Photobucket, etc. and then reference the jpg URL via a Photo FanShot.
You forgot
Acquire players who fill gaping holes from last year’s team but see no need to improve in any other way because every single player will obviously repeat last year’s performance. Except for Castillo. Who will magically become good.
Personally I think it points to a flaw in Omar's talent evaluation
I don’t think he prefers latin players because of race. I think he prefers certain ideals like athleticism/speed/defense, vs “unathletic masher types”, which the media/public tends to equate to latin players.
spot on!
The psychology of the American (and Western) consumer is going to have to change. The previous bubble economy we witnessed in the late 20th and early 21st century is unsustainable.

Agreed. I don't believe that should be considered a flaw but I agree with your overall point.
Just for fun, I put together a list of players who I think are the best players at their position to see how many would be Latin.
Catcher—Joe Mauer—White
1st Base—Albert Pujols—Latin
2nd Base—Chase Utley—White
3rd Base—A-Rod—Latin
Short—Hanley Ramirez—Latin
OF—Carlos Beltran—Latin
OF—Ichiro—Japanese
OF—Grady Sizemore—Mixed (Black&White)
So lets say for my argument that based on this template the mets should have 2-3 white starters. Well they do, Wright, Church, and Schnieder. I didn’t count Daniel Murphy’s platoon spot.
Omar’s mix of players overall doesn’t seem to be all that dissimilar from MLB either.
the AL All Star Starters:
C Joe Mauer, MIN
1B Kevin Youkilis, BOS
2B Dustin Pedroia, BOS
SS Derek Jeter, NYY
3B Alex Rodriguez, NYY
OF Josh Hamilton, TEX
OF Manny Ramirez, BOS
OF Ichiro Suzuki, SEA
DH David Ortizº, BOS
NL Starters:
C Geovany Soto, CHC
1B Lance Berkman, HOU
2B Chase Utley, PHI
SS Hanley Ramirez, FLA
3B Chipper Jones, ATL
OF Ryan Braun, MIL
OF Kosuke Fukudome, CHC
OF Matt Holliday, COL
OF Alfonso Soriano, CHC
Both starting teams have 3-4 non mixed white players. So Omar’s perceived flaw is being reproduced by other GM’s and by the fans votes of who the best players are.
Currently, Latin players are the best baseball players on this planet. So the fans and the GM’s are spot on. There is no flaw in making that a priority when you go out to make your team better but I think you hit the point perfectly Gina.
One group that does have a grip is the Japanese. The Mets have not had any success in finding very good Japanese players. It wouldn’t hurt to call Bobby Valentine and get a scouting report in the offseason.
I would NOT put Ichiro as "best at his position"
I say he’s replaced with Manny or Brian Giles.

I don't think Ichiro is gonna age very well
once he loses his speed, I think he could be in trouble. Still though, I just looked at his bb-reference page – 1800 hits in 8 seasons. That’s ridiculous.
I don't know what is a more tiresome topic:
the steroid debate or the does Omar have a latin bias debate.
