Metsblog: Mets make offer to Pedro
If they can sign him for relatively cheap he can't really be that much worse of an option than Livan right?

Answer:
No, he can’t be much worse — or any worse, really — than Livan.

At the start of free agency this off season I would have thought this was terrible, now given all the terrible rotation acquisitions of which the Highlights are:
Freddy ‘my arm is gone’ Garcia
Tim ‘I was an average 5th starter last year so lets come to camp overweight’ Redding
Livian ‘I am an not an average 5th starter I’m slightly worse and I’m overweight’ Hernandez
I think for the right price Pedro would be a great signing.
I’m talking $2-3.5 mil and no more.
Putz,K-Rod and Green aside I think the Mets had a bad offseason.
And the K-Rod move undoubtedly the biggest offseason move is nothing more than a sideways move due to the fact hes not better than a healthy Wagner.
