GOOD GUYS
One good thing about the Mets is that they have no controversy surrounding them. They still play in the big apple and the biggest media market in the world, yet they go about their business and don't make waves or have the big controversial star making waves. It's a team to be proud of and I hope the World Series is in sight for this bunch of good players and more importantly good guys.

I would say this is
automatically generated generic post spam but there’s no link provided. Overall, this is a lame post and not in the awesome way ala HELLO HELLO. Where’s the anti-rec button.
Alas, he is no Paperman.

WHAT THE FUCK
One good thing about this site is that it has good, substantive discussion. It is delivered via the Internet and HTTP, the medium that brings us YouTube comments and 4chan, yet it goes about its business and doesn’t consist of vapid drivel or inane dipshits posting vapid drivel. (Except for at the moment.) It’s a site to be proud of and I hope that no dilution of the signal-to-noise ratio is in sight for this bunch of good posters and more importantly good writers.

Whoa...
Never thought I’d see the pedantic Anonymous use the word ‘fuck’.

Absolute rubbish
Who do you think you are Ronguidry25? I’m ashamed that you even use my sacred name. Do you know for whom I pitched my entire career? The New York Yankees. Why would you even put my name on a site dedicated to the other NY team. You have tarnished my name and more importantly the name of the greatest sports team ever. Kudos to you.

bizarre
Especially the way this comment concludes with “Kudos to you.”

is this meant to be like the scene in Fight Club where Edward Norton beats himself up?
This comment upgrades the whole incident to prime, Grade-A trolling for lulz — for which I say, nice job. Kudos, even. Enjoy your short stay here.

Quote from the movie that applies to today…this is getting weird.
Are you saying that Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?
Yeah, this thread is a train wreck, so why not just randomly use one of my favorite baseball movie quotes?
2009 Mets: maybe its the Phillies turn to have a terrible bullpen?
No need to mention the author of this one:
This may sound a little West Texan to you, but I like it. When I’m talking about.. when I’m talking about myself, and when he’s talking about myself, all of us are talking about me.

Lou, you can't make it that easy
Any reference to “West Texas” gives it away, and there’s an old saying in Tennessee, I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on…shame on you. Fool me…you can’t get fooled again.

I disagree…
that damn Jose Reyes celebrating after hes done something good…what is he??? A human?
Dont get me started on K-Rod.
Good guys indeed.
All of MLB players could take a lesson from the WBC
The Japanese and Koreans had a blast playing the game. It was like watching kids. It was great. They had fun, celebrated and smiled. Nothing wrong with it. I’m sick of this old fashioned and staid attitude about celebrating. Who gives a damn? Go out there and have fun! Sheesh!
