Citi Field Opening Day Ticket Pack

The Mets have introduced a Citi Field Opener Pack that guarantees you seats to the Citi Field opener against The Padres on April 13. The catch is that you have to buy tickets to at least four other games in April and May. Still, if you're dying to go to OD and don't want to pay StubHub prices, this might be a decent option for you.

My first thought

It’s about three weeks until the home opener and they are still trying to sell field level tickets. They also have to open up tickets for opening day which were supposed to basically reserved for season ticket holders.

This can’t be good for the bottom line.

Ridiculous

I had already bought tickets for two games because they stopped offering seven packs. I would have bought this instead if they had been offering it earlier…

If they can’t sell OD tickets, why don’t they just open OD tickets up to be purchased without a catch? Or just find it in their hearts to lower prices.
