I don't get this.
If we’re considering moving Blastro to save a mere $2.5 million, why go after Pudge? Wouldn’t he cost at least a million? Unless I’m overestimating how much he’s looking for, I don’t see how Pudge provides savings.

Why would they do that?
Get rid of Castro at $2.5 mil(Not to mention the stupidity of a major market team dumping $2.5 mil salary for a player who figures to make a decent contribution).
Dump Castro to sign pudge…pah!
Next we’ll be signing Alex Cora for almost as much as Orlando Hudson then I’d be mad.
