there is nothing to add to this
other than maybe “no rush, Johan.”
'Oh yes, I know all about that duty-of-a-citizen stuff. It doesn't go. There are exceptions to every rule, and this was one of them. When a man risks his liberty to come and root at a ball-game, you've got to hand it to him. He isn't a crook. He's a fan.'

Hmm. Anyone else getting mixed messages?
We've got ourselves a ball club, the Mets of New York town!
The Problem
For whatever reason, they seem compelled to come forward with daily public statements regarding the situation even though they seem to have very little basis their assessments. We’re getting day by day accounts of how he feels. Why not just admit they won’t know more until Spring Training progresses?

Miss opening day if you have any reservations at all, Johan. It's ok.
And yes, I am getting very mixed messages, ala Ryan Church.

I'd rather he made it for the home opener
That’s really more important to me.
