Where can I find an application to be a MLB scout?
Rubin describes conversation with both NL and AL scouts on particular woes of the Mets in general, and Daniel Murphy, specifically.
Conspicuously missing was the analysis on J-Roll's buck-seventy-five start to the season.

As I said over at the Applesauce:
(bangs head on desk).
I will add also that Jimmy Rollins’ slow start is off-set by his innate grit, as well as the fact that he just told everyone that he will hit .400 over the next month. This prediction obviously negates his slow start.
'Oh yes, I know all about that duty-of-a-citizen stuff. It doesn't go. There are exceptions to every rule, and this was one of them. When a man risks his liberty to come and root at a ball-game, you've got to hand it to him. He isn't a crook. He's a fan.'

I talked to a Phillies fan
and he believes games played in April don’t matter — the true Phight isn’t revealed until September. I believe he’s an idiot.
I still can’t get over Rollins calling out Santana/the Mets at their WS celebration, and how that got absolutely no play. But yeah, he’s classy.
Haven't you heard
he can dance too. That’s all they talked about during the WBC. How the guy can dance. What they didn’t talk about: How he’s never had a .350 OBP. How many OBP points is grit worth?

I thought dancing was frowned upon
But maybe that only applies to that asshole Reyes.
Yeah
You can’t dance when you do something good, that’s inappropriate behavior. You can only dance when you’re showing off for Joe Morgan.
