Probably second-game syndrome
After the buildup and anticipation for Opening Day, the second game always seems dull. And the fact that it comes two days after the opener doesn’t help. It seems like there are always 20,000 people or fewer for the second game at Shea.

the saturday Met game? I get that Fox has exclusive rights during that time but isn’t it counterproductive to have a MLB game not be televised? Its not 1950!!!!
