how people can think that Sheffield might somehow be cut (pre-injuries) if the team still looks at him as a cleanup hitter.

He’s done a nice job cutting his K rate down lately, which is a good sign, but he still needs to be a bit more patient.
Also, just noticed Pagan was scheduled to be in Buffalo’s lineup, if anyone cares.

I think we keep our options open.
Search for a 1B/LF, trade for whoever has the best value/is the best, and put Murph at the other position if needed.

but I think a lot of people here are too quick to write Shef off. He needed some playing time but he still has the bat speed and is starting to look much better at the plate. has been fine in the field. I think he will take off although batting him cleanup is a bit much.

It’s really not fair. He blows the lead on purpose and then hopes the offense can kick in so he can get the win lol. I’m jk but he shouldn’t be credited with the win I agree. He did nothing to earn that win. At least we won.

Its wins. Wins mean more to fantasy baseball than real baseball, who cares? I mean, I’m sure Maine does to a degree, but as far as the sport goes, the only wins that matter are team wins.
