it is nice to read an anti-Phillips article like this.
Somehow, a chain of events unfolded that put Steve Phillips in a professional broadcast booth Sunday night so he could rip Carlos Beltran. Try to explain that in any other terms.

Winning games with mostly shitty players = full of grission
If the Mets only got rid of Wright, Beltran and Santana, they’d become America’s favorite baseball team. Not that I want that.
"The definition of edge is going out there and getting a few wins, and then all of a sudden you don’t have to worry about anyone talking about edge anymore," Wright said. "That's a thing in the past. Go ask Omar about that."
