He was also fined and will serve the suspension today. The punishment results from "inappropriate contact" Manuel made with umpire Bill Welke during an argument in the 8th inning Thursday night against the Phillies, following an obstruction call against Jose Reyes.

It's obstruction, not interference
Interference can only be committed by the offense, obstruction by the defense. Know thy rulebook.
The instrument has yet to be invented that can measure my indifference to that remark.
