The graph doesn’t even fully represent what just happened. It’s like, a 99.98% swing in one second. Because the pop up is so high percentage, really, the game was 99.98% in the bag while that ball was on the way into Castillo’s glove, and shot down to 0% in the blink of an eye.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Funny thing about that was
Ball three to Tex meant that 0.02% longshot was a loss instead of a tie. But you know, A-Rod’s so unclutchy, he’s definitely the guy you want up there. And he was. Its just that Luis is unclutchier.

The worst part about this loss? The fact that I was actually amused than horrified. No really, it’s as if nothing shocks me about this team anymore. NOTHING!

I had the Penguins’ celebration in one frame and the Mets in the other. I couldn’t help but laugh as the horror unfolded.
sometimes they are a much more satisfying team to root for.

I think I might take the rest of the weekend off

I think my neighbor’s crack dealer demanding her money has diffused my focus on this horrible outcome a little bit.
I'm going out in the open ocean tomorrow
far away from the mets. I am going to drink heavily, fish for some sea bass, drink some more have a nice meal and go back out on the ocean and fish from some striped bass. Not one minute will I hear or see the Mets.
