The Community Prospect List is something they do in the fanposts section over at John Sickels' Minor League Ball, a fellow SB Nation website (and a good one at that).  The idea is, every few days I'll post a new poll, asking you, the Amazin' Avenue community, to rank Mets prospects.  Its a fun exercise, so I figured why not give it a shot over here?  I'm not going to set a cap on it quite yet, but lets see if we can go 20 deep.  Starting today, I'll try to run an update every two days. Hopefully, we can get through 10 by the All-Star Break.  That way we can compare our list to any big midseason lists that come out. 

Every poll will include eight names as well as a separate list of testers.  Testers will be rotated into polls with each update, replacing each poll's winner and any name that's not getting votes.  Eventually, if someone is getting less than 6% or 7% of the total votes in a given poll, they will be swapped out for a tester.  But for the first couple polls, I won't remove anyone by virtue of a low vote total, since most of the votes figure to be concentrated into a few names. If there's a particular tester you'd like to see added to the poll, or a name not on the testers list that you feel belongs there, voice your support in the comments section and it will be duly noted.
