Mejia and Flores in the Futures Game
Adam Rubin is reporting that Mejia and Flores will represent the Mets for the World Team at the Future's Game in St. Louis.
Pretty cool.

Is Flores the youngest player in the game?
I can’t imagine many 17 year olds are gonna be there. In fact, I wonder how many 17 year olds have ever played in the Futures Game.
I know fans tend to overrate their farm system, but I’m legitimately really excited about the Mets farm for the first time since the Reyes/Wright/Kazmir/Heilman days. I never was too high on Milledge or Gomez or even Pelfrey.
Between F!, Mejia, Holt, Niese, Thole, Flores, Marte, Havens, Davis, etc...

yeah, it’s always exciting to get a look at the young’uns. I’ve already seen a bit of Flores from Spring Training, but I’m really looking forward to Mejia.
Trying to believe is my full-time occupation.
