It’s the Mets. “After the all-star break” could mean July 16th or September 29th. I don’t care that they said 3-4 weeks, I am not being overly optimistic just yet.

It doesnt pay to be overly optimistic as a Mets fan.
You should know that by now. But if the guy who invented the procedure is saying that it isnt necessary, that is a good sign.

I think we all need to take a Joe Torre relaxation pill
Its a long season. We still have 80 games to go and the mets are 2 games back. One day met fans are jumping off a bridge and the next their buying playoff tickets. I think
we all need to relax. We should have most of the core back by the end of July. If the Mets are only 2 or 3 games back by that point then watch out this team will win this division. The Phillies have to be kicking themselves by not pulling away.
