Mets sign Angel Berroa
More 'sprucing up the Bisons' moves. At least if Omar is focused on that, he can't ruin this team any more than he already has.

Omar accumulating the worst players in baseball
Berroa was the worst everyday player in baseball in 2005 and 2006.
If it allows him to keep guys where they should be and not rush them to AAA
then I’m all for it. When Martinez and Reyes come off the DL, I’m sure either Martinez or Berroa will be released.

I don't have a problem with this deal per se
It’s just funny that a day after two of the worst everyday players in baseball were traded, a former worst everyday player candidate was acquired.
Relax guys
I think I see Omar’s gran plan: trade for/sign guys who once were Rookie of the Year candidates who have fallen on tough times and hope they get back to their rookie form. Next up: Dontrelle Willis trade, followed by putting out a call to Scott Williamson.
Forget that...the immortal Tony Clark is on the market as of this morning.
Even though he is hitting below the Mendoza Line, I’d give him a look. He’s played here before and would be a nice platoon guy and insurance policy for Delgado. He still has some power.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but Jerry abuses the privilege.
