Everytime I look at this
I find something new. It’s layered like that.

ah, a new favorite example why it's important to hyphenate compound modifiers.
“Big-ass heads”? Or “big ass-heads”?

I saw the ambiguity after I posted it.
But I meant the former for Niese, either for Livan.

I'm tellin you guys
Don’t do it! Leave Niese Down!! They’ve already conceded the season. We all know how great a job the organization does between differentiating between quality of pitching and quality of defense/luck when determining a pitcher’s quality. What happens if they call up Niese, give him 12 starts, and he goes 2-6 with a 5.15 ERA? Is he a failure? Will he be called a failure either way? No matter what, I’m pretty sure the likelihood that he’ll be called a failure at some point will substantially increase, and become significantly greater than the chance that he will actually fail. And either way, I wouldn’t bet on great ERAs or even RAs for Niese with this defensive unit, at least until Beltran and Reyes come back. Even if a 4.00 ERA/4.50 RA is the expectation, that still looks like slim pickin’s in terms of a W/L record for a rookie pitcher unless the offense comes back to life. And that seem optimistic. I just pray if he does get the call, the organization already feels enough faith in him to give him another few chances despite the potentially poor “stats”.
Anyway, I’m only half kidding (maybe more like one-third), but this is hilarious. Jonathon’s the best part. For serious, awesome.

I don't know
Credit to Omar for sticking with Big Pelf for all those crappy years.

Big Pelf got a huge signing bonus
Point taken though, I hope you’re right, but Pelf had the benefit of playing on pretty good defensive teams, he was just called up before he was ready, and it was hard to deny that. Its easier to deny that a guy like Niese, who doesn’t have that “upside” and never got that big money, might actually be doing some things right in spite of a poor record and ERA.

To my untrained eye
Livan appears to be wearing a suit with an open collared pink shirt and a big gold medallion.
Why does that seem about right to me?
