That really sucks. Knight had the potential to be a nice long guy out of the pen. I mean, Tim freakin’ Redding is in that guy for the Mets right now.
I'm curious how this works, exactly
Knight was already under contract with the Mets. Wouldn’t he still have to be released? Does the team get any cash considerations or anything? Perhaps he was released upon his wishes.
He requested his release
I would hope the Mets got some cash out of it from the Samsung Lions, but maybe not.
