This really is about as close to a must win as you can have in July
The pitching match-ups for the LA series are horrid for us and we could very concievably be 7 or 8 out by the end of next week if we don’t get it going.
We need a $140 million performance from Johan today and some guys to step up with the bats.

How many 1-2-3 innings do we have to have before Jerry examines the top of his line-ups?

I’m not seeing a very good offensive player. I was lead to believe that there was very good plate discipline, and further that he could hit.
I’ve seen very little evidence of either. It’s not just the lack of hits, he hasn’t gotten on base. He doesn’t look like he belongs to me. I haven’t seen much to help me understand why so much patience with him.
